Writing and Editing Commissions

 intro  Welcome, friends! I'm CC, your creative crew for all things writing and editing. Whether you're looking to have a commission from your favorite series or based on original characters, I'm happy to help. I have experience working in the publishing industry as an editor and previously freelanced as a ghostwriter. Samples of my work can be provided upon request.

I will write or edit the following: Fandoms  I will write/edit for any fandom, though fandoms I am unfamiliar with will require submitted background information similar to original character commissions. I will write original characters or "Your Name" insert characters. Original  I will write/edit original work for fiction purposes, including under the service of ghostwriting. I will take non-fiction commissions on a case-by-case basis. NSFW  I will write/edit explicit content, including most kinks, within limitations. Please refer to my "Limitations" section. You must be 18+ to request NSFW commissions. By agreeing to these terms, you acknowledge that you are above 18 years of age.

Limitations: Characters  All characters involved must be fictional. Any resemblance to a real person is purely coincidental. Assignments, Contest Entries, Scholarship Submissions:  I will not write the aforementioned subjects. However, I am happy to offer editing assistance. NSFW Limitations  I will not write/edit pedophilia, bestiality, human/animal hybrid characters in explicit situations, minors in explicit situations, or rape. Posting  Please do not upload or share commissions on platforms which do not accept commissioned work, such as Archives of Our Own. Unless your commission is ghostwriting for original content, do not claim commissions as your own work. AI training  I do not consent for commissions to be fed into any AI programs, whether for training or personal entertainment.

 Writing 
Word counts are minimum estimates and may go slightly over to tell the story in full (at no additional cost.)Standard Commission Rates

2k-3k words: $35
4k-5k words: $45
6k-7k words: $55Over 7,000 words:
$55 + $0.02 per additional word

 Editing 
Proofreading and developmental edits for plot, characterization, setting, pacing, craft, and storytelling.Standard Commission Rates
$0.010 per word with a minimum of 1,000 words.Example:
1k words: $10
3k words: $30
6k words: $60

 Ghostwriting 
Written excerpts in your style for original fiction and non-fiction novels with full publishing rights.Standard Commission Rates

 When do I have to send payment? 
Payment is due prior to the final commission being submitted. For larger projects, I may request a percentage of the total cost upfront. How much creative control do I have over commissions? 
As much or as little as you'd like! You can send me anything from a detailed outline of the plot you'd like to a vague idea for me to work off of. If you would like specific tropes, please be sure to include them in your request. Can I request revisions? 
Absolutely. Please keep in mind that the revisions must be inline with the original request and wordcount. If you would like to extend your commission, it will require additional payment.

 Can I share my commission online? 
Commissions may be shared online so long as the platform accepts commissioned work. Can I keep my commissioned work private? 
Yes! Private requests will be sent via email. Alternatively, it can be posted as an anonymous commission. Whichever you prefer! Can I change my mind for a commission? 
You can request major changes to commissions within 24 hours of your request (length changes, plot, etc). For minor changes, please feel free to reach out to me and I will do my best to accommodate it.
